CliffPavlovic DOT com: 10 Years

A decade. 10 years. Seems like a long time yet it has passed so fast.

When the site launched, I was in the first years of a PhD. Now, I've already had my degree for five years. I've also worked in two countries and travelled to many others. I've made new friends and lost some along the way.

Always had dreams and plans (and still do), but at the same time life is unpredictable: Opportunities can come out of nowhere and sometimes you take a chance. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, but you always evolve with the experience: Always learning, always growing, always changing, yet always yourself.

As for the site, it has changed over the years, either visually, the type of content or its purpose. At the same time, it has always been present, always accessible, an anchor.

Symbolic in a way: The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Let's see what the next decade brings.

Following Me Online

Well as many of you have noticed, I have been sporadically posting on my website. This does not mean I am not active online, just the focus has shifted. This site will still carry pictures of my different trips, but my activity online is now more varied.

You can follow me on Twitter:

See what I am up to professionally on LinkedIn:

Even follow what is going on with an event my friends and I have created:

Edit 23/12/2012: No longer BioTech Montreal, now known as BioTech Annecto: http://biotechannecto.com

As you can see, just because the website has been slow in updates does not mean I have not been doing anything. 🙂

Overdue Site Status Update

It’s been awhile since I update the site since I’m busy with the end of my PhD. Planning to give the site a face lift in the near future (once I have the time) and get some new content up online (especially pictures from trips).

The “Friends & Fun” pictures are offline since I need to rework the whole structure of that section (became too tedious to manage). In addition, I need to rework other sections/features of the site (for example: the digg feed no longer works properly).

So stay tuned for a redesign and tune up… as time permits.
