+Google+ getting an image-focused design update, which looks great but will invite comparisons to other services that have taken the image-centric route, such as Pinterest or Facebook. Either way, I do like the new image-focused design and image tools provided.

  • The direct comparison regarding image size is with Facebook, which took the image-centric approach recently, with some cues taken from Pinterest in the layout department. Of course, they are doing their way, it is not a direct copy, but it is nice to see the competition is there and it helps improve things.
