Had a great time in Fredericton this week (from March 25th to the 27th, 2013), giving a talk at the NB Speaker Series on innovation, entrepreneurship and networking. I also gave a talk to students in Technology Management & Entrepreneurship at the University of New Brunswick. All were done on the tail-end of the East Coast Startup Week (http://www.eastcoaststartupweek.ca/).
From what I saw and experienced, there are great initiatives and great energy in New Brunswick for innovation and entrepreneurship!
It was wonderful to share my knowledge and experience with the people there, I appreciated the opportunity to do so. It was also my first time in Atlantic Canada, first time east of Quebec City (my previous eastern most point of travel).
A big thank you to Irenia Roussel, of the Department of Economic Development of New Brunswick (http://ow.ly/jzDT1), and Meaghan Seagrave, of BioAtlantech (http://bioatlantech.ca/), for making it all possible.
