I’m leaving on a jet plane (but I do know when I’ll be back again)

KLM - Royal Dutch AirlinesAfter over a year and a half, it’s finally vacation time for me! Of course this means sacrificing a little, such as not watching playoff hockey for the next two weeks or having my regular moral-boosting Cafe Depot visits (or is that just the caffeine?). But I do get a lot out of it, such as seeing relatives I haven’t seen in over 14 years and putting aside (most of) my work.

Hajduk is no. 1, Flames roast the Sharks and Canada wins against Sweden. Life is good!

Hajduk EmblemHajduk (pronounced "hi-duke"), my favorite Croatian soccer team, won their game against Rijeka 2-0. What does this mean? Hajduk is back in the no. 1 spot in the Croatian First Division (take that Dinamo!). Meanwhile the Flames (the only Canadian team left in the NHL playoffs) got the best of the Sharks in OT nonetheless (they remind me of the Habs in the 1993 playoffs: OT equaled a win).

As I’m piecing the site together during the next few weeks (and possibly months), new sections and pages will appear. Is there a set schedule? Not really. Is there a plan? Somewhat, since I’ll be migrating some of the content from my old site (which I did backup on my computer prior to my previous host’s HD crash).
